J-PROGS Interactive Programs - Read Me (Photo CDs: see different Read Me) This highly interactive software has been designed to support a variety of different environments. You should not need a manual to use it successfully, as the interface has been minimised to make the software accessible. However, you will find full installation instructions, along with tips on how to use the program in the ReadMe file on the CD-ROM (and below). Each program should occupy most users for several hours. After this, scores may be generated of quizzes done for possible future reference. Scores can be kept of the total numbers of questions attempted and scores achieved. Green is go, red is stop J-PROGS software has always been easy to use. Coloured buttons encourage users to move forwards (green) to new sections, or to go backwards (red). This makes it very simple to complete all the assignments in sequence. As a user commences on a new section of the program, an awareness of the colour system may help him or her to work through each section in a logical order. Installation Please note that you will be able to run this program directly from the CD-ROM on a PC or Mac without any installation taking place. However, most users will probably want to install it either on a hard disk or network. Full instructions for installation can be found on the ReadMe file on the CD-ROM. This software may not be installed on a network, unless a site licence has been purchased, or unless specific permission has been granted by the publisher (J-PROGS in the UK, Centaur Systems in the USA). If you do not have evidence of having purchased a site licence, then you have not bought one.
